Tamar Vacations is located on the South Arm of Lake Temagami in the heart of Temagami Provincial Forest. Tamar Island is surrounded by thousands of miles of wilderness shoreline. Peace and relaxation are spoken here. There is as much or as little to do around the island, depending on what you have in mind for your getaway. If you want to get off the island aluminum boats are available for fishing, sightseeing, or trips to Diving Rock, High Rock, or Cross Lake.  If canoeing if your thing you can go on a portaging excursion to Aileen, Austin Bay, and Pats Lake.
